In Loving Memory of Dr. Dennis G Smith (BI 58)
As some of you know, on July 25th my husband Dennis Smith died suddenly at our home in Pelham, Alabama. We had been married for 38 years and did not have any children. Because Dennis was 9 years older than me, we tried to plan for the likelihood that I would out live him, but right now I am still in a state of shock.

I appreciate all the messages of sympathy that I have received from around the world, but I wanted to do something in memory of our life together, which is why I have recorded a short episode of Books and Ideas to tell you a little bit about him.
