Graying Rainbows celebrates its First Anniversary
I have been podcasting since 2006, which means Brain Science is about to turn thirteen years old. I can’t say the same thing for Books and Ideas since it is coming off a two year hiatus between January 2017 and January 2019. In contrast, my news show Graying Rainbows: Coming Out LGBT+ Later in Life just hit the one year mark in November.
Graying Rainbows is very different from my long running shows, both of which tend to focus on science and features interviews with authors and experts from a wide variety of fields. Graying Rainbows focuses on the personal stories of people from across the LGBT+ spectrum. I hoping this diversity will help set the show apart from other podcasts in the genre.
Graying Rainbows started out as a weekly show, but it has now settle down to a more comfortable monthy schedule. This allows me to keep all my shows fresh and regular. Look for Graying Rainbows in your favorite podcasting app on the first Monday every month.
Today I will share the first episode, which tells you a little bit about my story and why I started another podcast.
