Episode 38 of Graying Rainbows: Coming Out LGBT+ Later in Life features Minnesota educator Tress Ahles. She share the ups and downs of her coming out journey including the tension between the joy of embracing authenticity and the guilt of hurting those she loves.
Usually the guests on Graying Rainbows are somewhat further along on their journey, but given that so many listeners are just getting started, I really appreciate Tress’s courage and willingness to share what she calls being in “the messy middle.”
